美ら島おきなわ文化祭2022「沖縄の民謡と民舞の祭典」
をきっかけに結成。11月20日に沖縄市民会館大ホール公演。
沖縄民謡は明るくノリノリなだけではない。
グループ名の「碧／あお」は、沖縄のこの世（白）とあの世（黒）の間にある
不思議な世界が「碧、青／あお」からきている。
悠久の世界を追求し、あまり知られていない美しい旋律の曲を紹介。
今後もさらに曲数を増やし活動を継続する。

Formed in 2022.
The group’s name “Ao” comes from the mysterious world of “Ao/Blue” between this world (white) and the next world (black) in Okinawa.
Okinawan folk songs are not only bright and flirty. They pursue the world of the eternal and introduce beautiful melodies that are not well known to the public.
They will continue our activities by increasing the number of songs in the future.
